ORIRO Aluminum Escape Ladder
The aluminum escape ladder is lighter than the steel ladder but provides the same robust, sturdy method of evacuation from most second and third floor windows or balconies. It comes with two hook options that the customer will choose at the time of purchase depending on their chosen escape route. The aluminum ladder comes in seven lengths ranging from 14.7” to 34”.
How to use
The evacuation route must be pre-determined and the hooks pre-tested and set to the correct size to ensure they fit the window sill or bar on the top of the balcony. The ladder must be stored close to the pre-determined evacuation route.
In case of emergency and in order to evacuate from a second or third floor window:
1) The ladder is extracted from the storage box and held by the hooks.
2) The hooks are placed on window sill or balcony with the ladder outside the building.
3) The deployment pin is pulled from the ladder allowing to instantly unfold to the ground.
4) Confirm the ladder is fully deployed and ready for use.
5) Evacuate from the building.
